This is achieved, in a cost effective way, by organising participative business activities for students, tutored by local business people who share their real life experiences with groups of six to eight students.

The activities normally run for a whole day and with a complete year group.

The programmes are entitled 'Preparing for Opportunities', 'Table Mats', 'Chocolate Box', 'Newsday' and 'Jotters'. These all have some common learning outcomes which are:
